Board Meeting calls are held the 3rd Sunday of the month. Please contact for call-in information.

The Board of Directors of AMTA VA is elected by the members of the Chapter to lead, formulate policy and provide oversight to the operations of the Chapter.
Beginning in 2017, the Board will be comprised of 5 members: President, (2) Board Members, a Secretary, and a Financial Administrator. There will also be several Committees, including Government Relations and Education. All of your Board Members are here to serve you, the member. If you have any questions about how to volunteer or concerns about licensing or other matters, please reach out and contact any member of the Board.

Jennifer Kupiec – President

Jennifer began practicing massage in 2014 after a long career in customer service. She has been an AMTA member since 2014 and began volunteering in 2015 at the State Legislative Day. Jennifer has a private practice in Waynesboro, VA where she specializes in prenatal massage and infant massage instruction.

In her free time Jennifer, enjoys reading, crochet, baking and watching Doctor Who. She lives in Waynesboro with her husband and furbaby, DInah.

Bernadette Binns – Board Member
Bernadette, known as Bernie, is a long time volunteer with the Virginia Chapter and began practicing massage therapy in 2004.  She has worked with the Virginia board in officers positions as well as committee chairs.  Bernie practices as a mental health therapist for over 20 years, and currently is an administrative clinical program manager at Loudoun County Department Mental Health, Substance Abuse & Developmental Services.  She is a perpetual student, tries to bring people together to learn and grown and LOVES TO LAUGH

Beth Kelsey – Financial Administrator
Beth is an LMT and BCMT from Blacksburg VA.  She holds a BA from Virginia Tech, and graduated Summa cum laude from the Blue Ridge School of Massage and Yoga in Blacksburg VA.  Beth has maintained a lively and varied private practice in her home town for 14 years and going.  She has instructed at a massage program in Roanoke part time, and travels around the mid-Atlantic and South teaching continuing education courses to other CMT’s and LMT’s on the weekends.  She loves massage therapy and she loves teaching.
Caitlin Culver – Secretary
Caitlin has been a practicing massage therapist for almost 3 years now and currently works at DCI Therapy, Inc. in Williamsburg, VA.  She graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2012 and went to American Spirit Institute in Williamsburg, VA for massage therapy school. Her passion for helping people get their active lifestyle back and aiding in her client’s treatment plans has propelled her into the therapeutic massage field. Caitlin’s previous background with her education, has made her a strong asset to massage therapy.  Last year Caitlin was an AMTA Chapter Delegate, where she helped the chapter become closer to the members needs and concerns
